Economic Development 3.00 A study of the characteristics of under-development, theories of economic development and the underlying causes for varying standards of living among the world’s people. Considerable time will be spent on studying social and cultural factors that influence economic growth, and their potential effect on the economic progress of the less-developed countries. ECON 201 and ECON 200 are the prerequisites.
