ART 272. Printmaking: Relief & Intaglio

An introduction to the history and techniques of relief, intaglio, and monotype printing. Lectures, demonstrations and projects will involve oil based and water soluble inks, linocut, woodcut, wood engraving, collagraph, drypoint, engraving, line etching, aquatint, softground, color registration and related photographic processes. ART 102  and ART 104  are the prerequisites.
