HIST 369. Greek History 3.00 Greek History covers the political, military, social, economic and intellectual history of the Greeks from the beginning of the Bronze Age ca 3000 BC until the Roman occupation of Greece. It ends with the sack of Roman Athens by the Heruli in AD 267. The course is a mixture of lectures and discussions of primary sources. Students will read all of the major Greek historians (Herodotus, Thucydides, Xenophon, Polybius).
