HIST 487. World War II 3.00 An examination of the origins, conduct and immediate aftermath of World War II in Europe and Asia. Attention is given to Japan’s Pacific War, Hitler’s war in Europe and the ultimate victory of the allies. The major military campaigns are discussed as are collaboration, resistance, and the War Crimes Trials. History Majors must have earned credit for HIST 395 prior to enrolling in this course.
