Offered Spring. An overview of selected topics required for students preparing to teach health in public schools. Selected topics include consumer health, environmental health, mental-emotional health, personal health, aging, death and dying. Special emphasis will be on issues relevant to teaching these topics in school. Prerequisite: Admission to PHETE program
