HTH 360. Contemporary Health Issues

This course will provide an overview of the leading health indicators and contemporary health issues based upon the Healthy People 2010 and 2020 initiatives from the US Department of Health and Human Services. Topics of discussion include current critical health, health care, and ethical issues such as community, consumer, and environmental health issues; focusing on the interaction between psychosocial, sociological, political, and environmental factors. HTH 230  is the pre- or corequisite.
