It includes how human constructs influence the number of species counted, biodiversity measurement techniques, and how geographers contribute to conservation methods. It introduces human challenges that are causing a decline in biodiversity and resultant impacts on human quality of life. Prerequisites: GEOG 290 and GEOG 340
