ENG 408. Advanced Studies in African-American Literature 3.00 Study of literature produced by African Americans, from the Colonial Period through the 21st century. May include writing in multiple genres: narrative prose, poetry, drama, nonfiction. Topics may be historically delimited or thematically organized; specific sections may focus on a group of authors, a literary movement, a historical moment, or a broad theoretical question.
Course may be repeated as topic changes.
