ENGR 231. Engineering Design I 2.00 This is the first of six courses in the engineering design sequence. This course provides students with 1) an overview of sustainable engineering design including history, concepts, and practices; 2) an introduction to cognitive processes and interpersonal communication skills that lead to effective problem solving, idea generation, and decision making; and 3) basic technical design skills.
