IECE 324. Assessment of the Young Child

This course provides students with an understanding of the assessment of young children’s development, ages birth to eight years, with and without exceptionalities. Students will be introduced to and apply informal and formal assessments to be used in decision-making and educational planning and delivery. Prerequisite(s): IECE majors : a minimum grade of “C” in IECE 322 , IECE 331 , IECE 466 and LED 355 , and applied to teaching education (01 flag); for B.I.S. majors with a concentration in IECE: IECE 300 , IECE 303 , IECE 321 and IECE 322 . Corequisite(s): For IECE majors : IECE 431 , IECE 460 and IECE 462 ; for B.I.S. students with a concentration in IECE: IECE 421 , IECE 466 and LED 355 .
