This is the first of a three-course series that examines the etiology, presentation, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders common to adults seen in primary care physician assistant practice. This series serves as preparation for the clinical rotations in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine and surgery. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the physician assistant program and successful completion of all previous courses in the curriculum, or permission of the program director.
