This is the first of a three-course series the presents the clinical laboratory tests used to detect and monitor common diseases and disorders. It focuses on selecting and interpreting the appropriate tests for each body system as well as performing selected tests. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the physician assistant program and successful completion of all previous courses in the curriculum, or permission of the program director.
