BIO 260. Foundations of Human Anatomy and Physiology


Credits 4.00 PeopleSoft Course ID 014173 Grading Basis GRD

An introduction to anatomy (structure) and physiology (function) of the human body and its organ systems which will provide a strong foundation in the relationship of human structure and function. BIO 260 is designed to meet the Virginia Science Content educational guidelines for A&P. Credit may not be earned in both BIO 260 and BIO 270 /BIO 270L  and BIO 290 /BIO 290L . Prerequisite(s): BIO 140  and BIO 140L ; Students in the following majors and minors are not eligible for this course: Dietetics, Health Sciences, Kinesiology and Nursing majors, and Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Athletic Training, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Dentistry and Pre-Optometry minors.
