Topics include experimental and survey design, distributions, variation, chance, sampling variation, computer simulation, bootstrapping, estimation and hypothesis testing using real data generated from classroom experiments and large databases. Not open to students who have already earned credit in MATH 220, MATH 229, MATH 318 or MATH 329. Prerequisite(s): MATH 206 , MATH 236 or permission of the instructor.
