This course provides an introduction to the nature of the crime problem in the United States, including patterns of victimization and offending and the ways in which the criminal justice system responds to these behaviors. Prerequisite(s): Justice studies majors and criminal justice minors only; for justice studies majors: JUST 200  and admission to the major; for criminal justice minors: admission to the minor.
