ECED 412. Natural and Social Sciences for Young Children

Study of content, processes, teaching methods and materials for teaching science and social studies in the early childhood classroom. Knowledge of cognitive development as applied to the selection of content in method will be examined. Prerequisite(s): Fully accepted into Teacher Education (02 Flag); Minimum grades of “C” or better in ECED 372 , ECED 444 , ECED 445  and LED 355 . Corequisite(s): ECED 304 , ECED 461  and EXED 325 .
