JUST 334. Media and Justice

This course will examine media constructions of justice. Students will be required to critically analyze the portrayal of justice issues in various media forms including television, internet and film. Attention will be given to the accuracy of such portrayals and whether they have any broader social implications in regard to how we view complex justice issues. Prerequisite(s): For Justice Studies majors: JUST 200 and one other 200 level JUST course, excluding JUST 225 ; for Criminal Justice minors: JUST 210 or CRJU 215 ; or permission of instructor.
