This course is designed to teach students the applied approach to match wine and food from different parts of the world using flavors, textures and components present in food and wine in complementing strategies. Emphasis will be placed on menu planning, cooking methods and tasting wines with food in a formal dining room. Course offered in Florence, Italy. Lab fee applies. Prerequisite(s): Student must be enrolled in JMU in Florence Program.
