The major goal of this course is to help students intensively develop proficiency in reading and writing based on their competence in listening and speaking. Students are expected to appropriately express their ideas in writing on a wide range of topics and achieve reading competence in Mandarin Chinese. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor.
