ISAT 290. Introduction to Systems Thinking for Complex Problems Credits 3.00 PeopleSoft Course ID 013753
Students will develop skills to apply systems thinking methodology to investigate, define and describe complex problems. They will build a recognition and appreciation of common causal structures that influence the evolution of a problem over time. Structures include interactions between cultural, institutional, natural and technological factors. Collaboration, integration of diverse knowledge sources and project management skills will be emphasized. Prerequisite: ISAT 190 or permission of the instructor and ISAT 212 with a grade of “C-” or better.
