ARTH 210. African Art & Culture in the Humanities

An interdisciplinary introduction to African art and culture with topics focusing on life ways, music, religion, philosophy, art, literature and cinema. This course provides a strong background for upper-division course work in the arts of African and the African Diaspora, as well as for students pursuing degrees in history and anthropology.
