ART 222. Introductory Ceramics: Handbuilding (0,9)

Forming techniques will be explored for both vessel and sculptural work. Addresses construction concerns such as timing, structure and mass. Conceptual issues of hand-formation and ceramic sculpture discussed. Introduces historic and contemporary approaches, firing techniques and glaze application. Prerequisite:  ART 102 , ART 104  and ART 106
