ATEP 536. Therapeutic Interventions II

This course will develop the student’s ability to design rehabilitation and reconditioning programs. Focus on anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, various exercises, use of available equipment, and the understanding of moral and ethical obligations will advance the student’s ability to use therapeutic exercise as an intervention. The goal of this course is to present the student with a theoretical and practical approach for the design of rehabilitation protocols and the safe use of rehabilitation equipment for use with lower extremity musculoskeletal injuries. Prerequisite: Admission to the athletic training master’s program.
