POSC 364. Political Parties in America

This course will focus solely on the central role of political parties in the United States. Even though parties are not mentioned in the U.S. Constitution and the framers despised them, they quickly formed and have come to dominate our political environment. Fully understanding political parties is essential for the political science student.  Prerequisite: POSC 225  or permission of the instructor.
