SPAN 495. Practical Spanish for Public Safety/Legal Spanish

This course focuses on Spanish for public safety, law enforcement, and the judicial/legal system in collaboration with local and state agencies and the Spanish-speaking community. Students consolidate their theoretical knowledge, gain confidence in the language, and observe both the direct impact of their learning and the critical role of language proficiency in today`s increasingly diverse society. Prerequisite: SPAN 300 .
