GEOG 216. Earth Observation and GPS

An introduction to remote sensing, global positioning system (GPS) and computer fundamentals in Geographic Science. Basic concepts will be illustrated with practical applications, including hands-on work collecting data with GPS units and exploring remote sensing imagesfrom a variety of different instruments. Environmental applications will be featured.
