MSSE 425. Assessment in Middle and Secondary Education (NEW COURSE)

This course is designed to prepare prospective teachers to create and evaluate both formal and informal assessment strategies. Candidates will construct instruments ranging from formative learning checks to summative tests and projects/rubrics. Candidates will also learn to analyze assessment results in order to gauge student progress and adjust instruction appropriately.
