This seminar analyzes human-environment interactions as shaped by cultural perceptions, past events and ecological processes. Methods of historical ecology and field research are introduced. Regional projects underscore readings and research assignments. Prerequisite: GEOG 290 , GEOG 308  or permission of instructor.
