MSSE 471E. Field Experience in Middle School English

Provides practical classroom experience for teacher education candidates in the middle and secondary education programs under the supervision of an in-service teacher and a clinical professor. Students engage in classroom activities that provide an opportunity for them to practice the strategies and concepts learned in the methods course.  Prerequisite: EDUC 310 , MIED 311 , MSSE 370 , and MSSE 371  for middle education students; EDUC 310, MSSE 370 and MSSE 371 for secondary education students. Students are responsible for transportation to field placements at local schools.  Corequisite: MSSE 470 and READ 472  or EXED 460  for middle education students; MSSE 470 and READ 440   for secondary education students.
