HIST 434. Recent America 3.00 An interpretive study of U.S. History from the Watergate era through the present. Emphasis is given to cultural, social, political, environmental, economic, educational and ethical issues, as well as considerations of indigenous peoples, foreign policy, activism and American idealism. Prerequisite: HIST 395 or permission of the instructor.
