GEOL 460. Hydrogeology (2, 2)

Basic concepts of subsurface water as a part of the hydrologic cycle. Topics include storativity and permeability in porous media, principles of flow, computer applications, groundwater exploration, and mapping and environmental aspects of groundwater. Prerequisite: GEOL 110L  and two semesters of calculus or permission of the instructor.
