At JMU, all students can be successful if they rise to the challenges they face as students, take full advantage of the many academic and student support services available to them on the campus, and participate deeply in engagement opportunities on campus and beyond.

Student success succinctly describes JMU's pervasive philosophy of collaborative, campus-wide efforts to coordinate and support services that: help students become more efficient, effective and engaged learners; address students' physical and emotional health; and provide advice and assistance for a variety of financial, curricular, technical and employment concerns.

The James Madison University Student Success Center houses several university departments, resources and functions that support student learning, student health and student services.
