Special Education, Behavior Specialist Concentration, M.Ed.
Program Description
The Masters of Education (M.Ed) in Special Education, Behavior Specialist concentration is focused on the study of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The program provides the coursework needed to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam after degree conferral. This program also includes supervised practical field work in ABA. In addition, students admitted to the M.Ed. Special Education program will take additional EXED courses required for the M.Ed degree.
The program application opens on September 1 and closes March 1. Review of applications begins February 1. Early application before February 1st is recommended to have full consideration for graduate assistantships.
This program is designed to be completed in 2 years. Summer courses are required.
