Program Description
The Mathematics for Elementary and Middle Grades Teachers Minor is open to students not majoring in mathematics or statistics. Each student must obtain prior approval of all courses to be counted in the minor from the advisor or from the department head.
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics offers credit by examination for some of the courses taught in the department. Students who want to take an examination must apply to the department head. Upon application students will receive details regarding approval to take the examination.
