The Global Religions and Cultures minor equips students with skills in religious literacy: understanding how religion works in people’s lives as well as in the larger historical, cultural and sociopolitical forces that shape our world, from religious terrorism to nonviolence, from the suppression of women to the advocacy of civil rights.
