Special Education, Behavior Specialist Concentration, M.Ed.

The Masters of Education (M.Ed) in Special Education, Behavior Specialist concentration is focused on the study of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).  The program provides the coursework needed to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam after degree conferral. This program also includes supervised practical field work in ABA. In addition, students admitted to the M.Ed. Special Education program will take additional EXED courses required for the M.Ed degree. 

Degree Requirements


College of Education Core: 9 Credit Hours


Concentration Courses: 33 credits


Students will take EXED 636 for four semesters. 

Total: 42 Credit Hours

Summer: 3 Credit Hours


Second Year - Fall: 12 Credit Hours
