Criminal Justice Minor

The cross disciplinary minor in criminal justice is designed for students who are preparing for careers in law enforcement, corrections, judicial administration or other areas related to the study or management of crime, either directly upon graduation or after further graduate training. The requirement for a minor in criminal justice is 18 credits. Students should allow a minimum of four semesters in which to complete the minor. Students majoring in justice studies may not declare the criminal justice minor.

Choose at least one course from each of the following units: 12 Credit Hours

The following courses may also be used for general elective credit


1 Students majoring in this discipline may double count only one course as credit for the minor and that major.
