Professional Sales Concentration Requirements
This concentration prepares students for careers in sales that focus on business customers and, in most cases, on the selling of relatively large ticket items.
Courses in this concentration build on the content of MKTG 430 . Students should complete this course as soon as possible after completing COB 300.
Required Courses
Core Courses: 15 Credit Hours
- MKTG 384. Integrated Marketing Communications 3.00
- MKTG 385. Consumer Behavior 3.00
- MKTG 430. Professional Selling 3.00
- MKTG 482. Marketing Analytics 3.00
- MKTG 485. Marketing Management 3.00
To qualify for the Professional Sales Concentration, complete 12 credit hours of electives through one of the following options:
- Two sales-focused electives (six credit hours) and two other marketing electives (six credit hours)
or
- Three sales-focused electives (nine credit hours) and one other marketing elective (three credit hours).

Fourth Year
COB 487 must be taken during a student’s fourth year; however, the course may be taken either semester.
