University Studies

University Studies is the Dean’s office for Exploratory students, Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies (IdLS), and Independent Scholars. It is also the academic unit supporting the Center for Assessment and Research Studies, the International Study Center: Study Group Program, Ethical Reasoning in Action, Online Virginia Network, and some elective courses. The Associate Provost for Online Strategy serves as the Dean of University Studies. University Studies is located in Gabbin Hall.
