ENGR 315. Computational Methods in Engineering

This course is an introduction to applied data analysis techniques for modern engineering systems that focus on modeling, mathematical and statistical analysis, data visualization, and programming techniques that can be used in engineering decision-making. Students will create programs to import data from engineering systems and conduct automated analysis to render appropriate decisions. Integrated development tools will be used to maintain programming environments and allow for code management and collaboration. Prerequisite(s): MATH 236  and a minimum grade of “C-” in ENGR 112 . Engineering majors  only.
