ENGR 461. Structural Systems Analysis


Credits 3.00 PeopleSoft Course ID 014697 Grading Basis GRD

This course extends from the foundational principles of structural analysis. Topics include matrix methods of structural analysis, finite element techniques and stability considerations. Advanced manual and computational analytical techniques are used to assess deformations, internal forces and reactions in structural systems. Prerequisite(s): MATH 238  or MATH 300 ; and a minimum grade of “C-” in ENGR 360 .
