PHYS 485. Science of the Small

The chemistry and physics of materials of the nanometer scale will be explored. Lectures will cover contemporary issues in surfaces, self-assembly and low dimensional materials. The intersection of biology, chemistry, engineering and physics will be explored through nanoscience. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 132  and MATH 236 ; and PHYS 150  or PHYS 250 . Corequisite(s): PHYS 150  or PHYS 250 .
