ENGR 499A. Engineering Honors I

This is the first course in a three-course sequence. Students generate an idea for and write a proposal for an independent research project that meets the requirements set forth by the Honors program  and the Department of Engineering . Students must identify and analyze an engineering-based problem, identify potential solutions, recommend an approach, and prepare a written proposal. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor. Engineering majors  only.
