This course studies the use of communication in social movements. Emphasis is placed on the types of communication used in social movements and on ways to produce and respond to such messages. This course examines a variety of different social movements within the political process including nonprofit organizations. Prerequisite(s): Fully-admitted SCOM major or minor or Sport Communication minor .
