CHEM 353. Environmental Chemistry

An introduction to chemical pollution of water in the air, soil, groundwater, streams and drinking water from a chemist’s perspective. Topics include sources and methods of assessment, fates and reactions, and transport of chemicals in the environment. This course does not include laboratory activities. Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or better in CHEM 241  or permission of the instructor.
