An in-depth study of plant function including metabolism, water relations, transport phenomena, growth and development, physiological ecology, and responses to pathogens and abiotic stress. Credit may not be earned in both BIO 455 and BIO 555. Prerequisite(s):  BIO 240 /BIO 240L  and CHEM 132 .
