GEOG 377. Feminist Geography

This course introduces the field and practice of feminist geography with emphasis on understanding gender and other social categories such as race, class and sexuality through a geographic perspective. Concepts and topics examined include the relationship of such identities to spatial politics, culture, knowledge and social justice. Prerequisite(s): GEOG 200  or GEOG 210  or GEOG 215  or GEOG 280 , or permission of instructor.
