EXED 407. Transitions of Learners with Disabilities

This course is designed to provide a detailed study of the transitions throughout the educational experience of persons with disabilities, including transitions between IDEA Part C and Part B services, elementary-middle-high school, and high school-post-secondary environments. Focus is given to the services and skills needed to support successful integration into and functioning within the routines and activities of these settings. This course includes two-three hours each week functioning as a job coach to a local student with disabilities.  Prerequisite(s): EXED 200  and EXED 474 .
