This course investigates current issues and controversies in the field of exceptional education. This course is designed to support the student’s understanding of how sociological, familial, political and cultural issues are affecting the field of special education. It will also challenge students to apply this knowledge to their practice.   Prerequisite(s): EXED 200 .
