BIO 354. Global Climate Change and Life: Ecological and Biological Impacts of Climate Variability Credits 4.00 PeopleSoft Course ID 012528
Global climate change is important to the distribution, diversity, health and survival of organisms. The biota have changed through evolution in part as a response to selection pressures from these variations. Living things can also adjust to change through phenotypic flexibility. This course examines, in a seminar/discussion format, the potential ecological impacts of past and current patterns of climate alteration on organisms.
